
Dr. Simranjeet Dhaliwal graduated from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry (UW) in 2017. Before coming to the United States Dr. Dhaliwal was a licensed dentist in India since 2010. The University of Washington, Seattle is a very prestigious institute and was ranked among top 10 universities in USA. She was one of the five students selected for IDDS program.
While getting her degree at UW, Dr. Dhaliwal was posted at the Indian Health Services in Omak, WA and Nesplem, WA for her externship. Dr. Dhaliwal also volunteered at various places during her degree, she truly cherishes the time she put at a senior assisted living center in Seattle. Her experience at the senior center combined with the clinical experience makes her work well with geriatric patients and allows her to put the patients at ease prior to the commencement of the treatment.
Before joining the Greater York Family Dentistry Dr. Dhaliwal worked as an associate dentist for four years in Pennsylvania. She served patients from all demographics and with variety of needs. Dr. Dhaliwal has a philosophy that ’prevention is better than cure’. It shows in her treatment plan, which is aimed to educate each patient and set specific and achievable goals. Dr. Dhaliwal endeavors that the patient experience is painless and fearless. She loves to help her patients earn their confidence back with a beautiful smile. Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys working with entire families from children, parents to grandparents towards good oral health. She believes that family as a unit can keep each other in check and motivate to inculcate good oral habits.
Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends. She lives in York with her husband, and they were blessed with a baby boy during the lockdown.
